Question:
I created some lifetime awards based on the number of hours served, but the award doesn't show up for volunteers that have already reached that number of hours. How do I get the award to show up on their profile?
Answer:
Automatic Awards (such as monthly, yearly, and lifetime Awards) are not updated as soon as they are created, instead, they are only updated once daily at a scheduled time during the middle of the night. Additionally, there is a 2-day delay between when the Award was earned and when the volunteer is notified in order to give you time to validate participation (such as marking no-shows). This is intended to help ensure volunteers do not receive an Award by mistake or before you are ready for them to see it, since they will receive a notification that they have received an Award whenever they log in to the portal or use the Sign-in Console or Mobile Sign-in when they arrive to volunteer. When the Awards are "pending", they appear as 99% completed in the volunteer’s profile to indicate that they have been completed, but that they are not yet awarded.
