You can view volunteers’ responses to Custom Registration Questions in a few different places depending on your needs. You can view them within the opportunity registration menu, the sign-in sheet for an opportunity, or in the Custom Participation Report. We have included more information about each of these methods below.
View/Update Custom Registration Question Answers
As a staff member (with Event Leader, Group Leader, Leadership Team, or Administrator access), you can view and update volunteers’ answers to your custom registration questions within the registration menu for that specific opportunity. See the steps below to do so:
- Click on the "Search/Manage Existing Opportunities" link under the "Opportunity Management" section of the Main Dashboard.
- Locate the opportunity in question in the list of opportunities in the bottom section of the page and click on the “Register Volunteers/Groups” () button to the left of the opportunity name.
- Click on the “View Custom Registration Questions” () button to the right of any of the volunteer registrations to see their responses and/or update them in a pop-up box.
- If you made any changes, click the “Update Answer Values” button to save your changes and close the pop-up box, otherwise just click the “X” in the top right corner.
Including Custom Registration Question Answers on Sign-in Sheets
You can download a sign-in sheet for any opportunity and customize the information that is included on it. By default, it will include each volunteer’s name, phone number, and email address, and you can choose to include other items for that opportunity, such as the Custom Registration Question answers. Reporting on Custom Registration Question Answers
You can use the Custom Participation Report located in the Report Management section of the system to pull a report of volunteer hours data as well as the answers to the Custom Registration Questions. This report is the most flexible report in CERVIS and will allow you to download the answers to your Custom Registration Questions by selecting the “Answers to Custom Registration Questions'' option under the “Opportunity Field Selection Options'' section. You can report on a specific subset of volunteers based on their custom registration question answers, opportunity participation, and more.
