Question:
I was writing an email to some of the volunteers in our database earlier and was not quite finished so I clicked the "save draft" button. Now I am not sure where to go back in and continue to write my email. Can you tell me where I would find it?
Answer:
In order to recover your draft, select your recipients like you normally would (draft messages do not save recipients) and then click the "Send Email" button. If you have a saved draft in the system, the system will display a pop up showing any drafts that have been saved for your system that you can choose to use. You can also discard previously saved drafts from that menu, if needed. This menu will include all drafts from your system, not just your own. So if another staff member creates or discards a message it will be reflected in this menu. If the system does not display this prompt, then it means you have already previously sent or discarded all of your drafts.
NOTE: The system will automatically save a draft of your message every 30 seconds, even if you don't select the "Save Draft" button.
