Question:
What web browsers can be used with CERVIS?
Answer:
The only web browser requirement for accessing CERVIS is that "cookies" must be enabled. CERVIS only uses cookies to enable system functionality and does not track or monitor user web activity in any manner. Cookies are enabled by default in all browser configurations so a browser should only require reconfiguration if it has been intentionally set to other than default settings. To enable cookies in your web browser, please consult the relevant browser documentation for your specific browser type and version.
CERVIS does not require any browser add-ons or plug-ins, such as Flash, Shockwave, Java, ActiveX, SilverLight, etc, so it is accessible from virtually any web browser, including most smartphones.
It is also highly recommended, although not required, that the web browser being used has JavaScript enabled. For additional information regarding use of Javascript in your web browser, please consult the relevant browser documentation for your specific browser type and version.
