Find Volunteers With No Interest Categories, Groups, Skills, Equipment or Availability

Question:

My organization requires that all volunteers are assigned to at least one interest category.  How can we search to find volunteers that are not a part of any interest categories?

Answer:

The best way to find this information is by using the Advanced Volunteer Search. You can access this menu by following the steps below:

1. Login to your CERVIS account.
2. Click on the "Advanced Volunteer Search" link under the "Volunteer Management" section of the Main Dashboard.

To display a listing of volunteers with NO INTEREST CATEGORIES assigned, please follow the steps below:

1. Follow the steps at the top of the page to access the Advanced Volunteer Search.
2. Scroll down to the "Volunteer Interest Category Options" section and click on the heading to expand the section.
3. Click on the "CLICK HERE to find Volunteers with NO matching categories" link (located below the Interest Category listing field) to display a listing of volunteers with no assigned Interest Categories.

To display a listing of volunteers with NO GROUPS assigned, please follow the steps below:

1. Follow the steps at the top of the page to access the Advanced Volunteer Search.
2. Scroll down to the "Volunteer Group Options" section and click on the heading to expand the section.
3. Click on the "CLICK HERE to find Volunteers with NO matching groups" link (located below the group listing field) to display a listing of volunteers with no assigned Groups.

To display a listing of volunteers with NO SKILLS assigned, please follow the steps below:

1. Follow the steps at the top of the page to access the Advanced Volunteer Search.
2. Scroll down to the "Volunteer Skill Options" section and click on the heading to expand the section.
3. Click on the "CLICK HERE to find Volunteers with NO matching skills" link (located below the skill listing field) to display a listing of volunteers with no assigned Skills.

To display a listing of volunteers with NO EQUIPMENT assigned, please follow the steps below:

1. Follow the steps at the top of the page to access the Advanced Volunteer Search.
2. Scroll down to the "Volunteer Equipment Options" section and click on the heading to expand the section.
3. Click on the "CLICK HERE to find Volunteers with NO matching equipment" link (located below the group listing field) to display a listing of volunteers with no assigned Equipment.

To display a listing of volunteers with NO AVAILABILITY assigned, please follow the steps below:

1. Follow the steps at the top of the page to access the Advanced Volunteer Search.
2. Scroll down to the "Volunteer Availability Options" section and click on the heading to expand the section.
3. Click on the "CLICK HERE to find Volunteers with NO matching availability " link (located below the group listing field) to display a listing of volunteers with no assigned Availability.
