Advanced Volunteer Search

To conduct a detailed search of your volunteer database using the advanced search options, please follow the steps below:

1. Login to your CERVIS account.
2. Click on the Advanced Volunteer Search link under the "Volunteer Management" section of the Main Dashboard.
3. Specify the criteria that you are looking for and click on the Search Volunteer Database button. This will display a listing of all volunteers that match your search criteria.

The available options using the Advanced Volunteer Search are listed below. You can search based on just one item or combine any of the options available to create very specific searches.

1. CERVIS Account Status Options:
• Volunteer Account Status
• CERVIS Account Status 
• CERVIS System Access Level
• E-mail Subscription Status
• Confirmation of E-mail Subscription Status
• Reminder E-mail Subscription Status
• Thank You E-mail Subscription Status
• Birthday E-mail Subscription Status
• Account activity
• New Volunteers entered into CERVIS within a date range
• Volunteer Anniversary in CERVIS
• Date of last profile update
• Selected team leadership preference
2. Volunteer Interest Category Options:
• Match volunteers assigned to ANY of the selected Interest Categories:
• Match volunteers assigned to ALL of the selected Interest Categories:
• Match volunteers assigned to NONE of the Interest Categories:
3. Volunteer Group Options:
• Match volunteers assigned to ANY of the selected groups:
• Match volunteers assigned to ALL of the selected groups:

4. Volunteer Skill Options:
• Match volunteers assigned to ANY of the selected skills:
• Match volunteers assigned to ALL of the selected skills:

5. Volunteer Equipment Options:
• Match volunteers assigned to ANY of the selected equipment options:

7. Volunteer Background Check Options:
• Volunteers that match any of these selected background check options: 
• Background check date between a date range
• Background check date is missing or present
• Background checks that are older than [6 - 60 months] old
8. Volunteer Checklist Options:
• The status of certain checklist item between a date range
• A certain checklist item’s completed date was greater than [6 - 60 months] old
9. Volunteer Award Options:
• Volunteers with the following award
• Awarded between optional dates
10. Volunteer Liability Waiver/Medical Release Status Options:
• Liability waiver/medical release completion status is set to yes or no
11. Volunteer Terms & Conditions Options:
• Terms & Conditions whose date is between specified dates
• Terms & Conditions date missing or present
• Terms & Conditions date is greater than [6 - 60 months] old
12. Volunteer Tag Search Options:
• Find volunteers with identified tags assigned or not assigned
1. Separating tags by a comma (,) will search for volunteers with ALL of the entered tags, whereas separating tags by a semicolon (;) will search for volunteers with ANY of the entered tags.
13. Volunteer Note Search Options:
• Volunteer note keyword search
14. Volunteer DoD/Military Installation Access Options (if enabled in System Configuration):
• Volunteer DoD/military installation access is set to yes or no
15. Volunteer Age Options:
• Age group match:
• Age search
• Birthday search
• Birth Date field missing or present
16. Volunteer Gender Options:
• Find volunteers that match a selected gender
17. Volunteer E-mail Address Options:
• E-mail Address is missing or present
• E-mail address keyword search
18. Volunteer Phone Number Options:
• Primary or Alternate Phone number search (using partial or full number)
• Phone number is text enabled or not text enabled
19. Volunteer Address Search Options
• Zip code match
• City/Town match
• State/Territory/Province match
• Address is missing or present
20. Volunteer Participation Options:
• Find volunteers who have served a specific number of times/hours between specific dates
• Find volunteers who have participated in any/all specific events
• Registered with custom question value 
• Find volunteers with "No Shows" or cancellations between specific dates
• Find volunteers who completed their registration between specific dates
• Find Volunteers that participated (or will participate) in their first activity between specific dates
• Find Volunteers that participated in their most recent service activity between specific dates
21. Volunteer Profile Photo Options
• Volunteer profile photo is missing or present
22. Volunteer File Attachment Options
• Volunteer file attachment is missing or present
• Volunteers with a file attachment uploaded to their profile between specific dates
23. Custom Field Search Options
• Perform advanced searches based on custom field values. This will be different for each organization.
