Question:
I duplicated a Time Slot Event from last year to this year, but we are closed for a few holidays and I’m wondering how I can remove those specific slots from the event.
Answer:
There are a couple of different ways you can do this. The best way is to “hide” the slot so that it is not visible to volunteers, but the slot still exists on the back end if you duplicate the event again the following year. Alternatively, you can completely delete an individual slot. The instructions for both options are included below.
To DISABLE/REMOVE a time slot from a Time Slot Event, please follow the steps below:
- Login to your CERVIS account.
- Click on the "Search/Manage Existing Opportunities" link under the "Opportunity Management" section of the Main Dashboard.
- Locate the event in question in the list of opportunities and click on the "Manage Time Slots" icon () to the left of the opportunity name.
- Change the "Needed" field to “0” for any time slot you want to hide.
- Click the "Update Time Slot Information" button to complete the action. Please note that the time slot will still show up on the "Manage Event Time Slots" screen, but will be hidden and not available for registration. Any disabled time slots can be added back at any time by changing the "# Needed" value to a number greater than zero.
To COMPLETELY DELETE* a time slot from a Time Slot Event, please follow the steps below:
