After you have configured the Salesforce Integration in your CERVIS console based on the instructions in the knowledge base article HERE, you can manually export volunteer profile records from CERVIS to Salesforce in just a few clicks.
To manually export records from CERVIS to Salesforce, follow these steps:
- Login to your CERVIS Account
- Click on the "Search / Manage Volunteer Database" link under the "Volunteer Management" section of the Main Dashboard
- Search for the volunteers that you would like to export using the standard or advanced search options
- Select all returned volunteers using the checkbox in the heading
- At the top of the page, use the “Volunteer Management Bulk Actions” drop-down menu to select "Send Profiles to Salesforce"
- Click the corresponding “Send Profiles to Salesforce” button to confirm
Information will be sent to Salesforce as soon as you click the button. Any accounts which do not match an existing account in Salesforce will be added if you have configured your integration to allow Adding records. CERVIS will only update existing records if you have configured it to update existing records and if the volunteer profile in CERVIS was updated more recently than the Salesforce record.
