When you are using an iframe as your means of integrating CERVIS into your website, you can use a list of variables to increase the choices of how you direct volunteers and use more precise links to simplify the registration process without the need to add many pages to your website. This is accomplished via the use of our javascript for resizing the embedded iframe and some specific variables that we have created.
For more information about the Web Integration process refer to the our Knowledge Base article on Web Integration.
To use these variables, you will need to have the iframe for your Opportunity Listing page integrated into your website. Once that is in place, you can simply add the below information to the end of your URL replacing values like "nnn" with the appropriate number or date or zip code. This can be added to links on your website or to links that you send to volunteers directly. For example, if your website is www.cervistech.info/embedexample, you can customize this page to view your Volunteer Application page by instead linking to www.cervistech.info/embedexample?console_type=application.
As always, if you have any questions about how to utilize this powerful tool to improve your web integration, please contact our Customer Support team.
