Could we get a toggle option next to volunteer addresses that says "I do not want physical mail." We use our volunteer database to collect addresses for our organization's physical mailers and would like a more accessible way to mark volunteers who do wish to receive physical mail.

What we would recommend doing in this scenario is using one of your custom profile field questions to ask "Do you want to receive physical mail from us?" (or something similar) with options of "Yes" and "No" and then place that field directly after the address field on the profile creation page.
This would basically provide the exact functionality you are requesting and the functionality already exists in the system.
