I would like a way to record when and why a volunteer separates with us. Ideally, this would be 2 fields: an End Date field (currently there is only a CERVIS Start Date field) and a text field that I can enter why a volunteer left (this could also be a drop-down select field). I would also like for CERVIS to automatically record/calculate how long a volunteer's term is based on their start and end dates.

I think this is a great idea! I would love to see, also, separate fields for CERVIS account creation date (which is also referred to as “start date” in the advanced search function) and a field for “Date of First Volunteer Service Activity” just like there's a field for "Date of Last Volunteer Service Activity"."
The way we organize our operations, a person applies by completing the application in CERVIS, and they're not an official volunteer till they have an interview, so their start date is technically their first shift as a volunteer with us, not the date they applied.
