We work with volunteers who I would like the ability to have a pop-up note when you click into their profile, or something that is super obvious at the top of their record when viewing their account. Perhaps even the ability to “pin” notes to the top of a volunteer's record so you can pin the most important notes for any new staff member to read to the top of the rolling scroll of a lifetime of notes.
This is most useful for us specifically with some of the people we work with have physical or cognitive challenges, but we need to check with someone else about their ability to participate in something (like a coach, or their guardian even though they're an adult).
But I can see this being useful in other ways as well. Like, I might just pin at the top of the list of notes a volunteer's original volunteer interview. But being able to pin additional notes, or, have a separate system function in a person's profile that when you open their profile, it pops up a message with a reminder about that volunteer.
Anything like what I've suggested above would be helpful with making sure staff have a way to report important things about volunteers, but don't have to remember it in their heads, or always scroll through ALL the notes we've entered over time about someone.
