Each month, I report on the number of no-shows and our no-show rate. This helps our team understand how to adjust sign-ups to ensure needs are met. It would be great if this could be included as an option in reports - even if it was just the number of no-shows for each opportunity. Currently the only way I've found to track no-shows is to dig through the system log, which does not feel 100% accurate.

I agree with this- It would be nice to have a more fluid way to pull a detailed ‘no-show’ report.

I came to the system support pages to search and figure out if there is a way to report on no shows - I thought there was but found this post instead. Agree that having a way, or multiple different ways, to report out on no show numbers (by opportunity, by volunteer) would be very useful.

I found it - there is an option to do an advanced search to show volunteers with X number of no shows. It's under Volunteer Participation Options. That's great, but more options would be even better. For instance, I was just doing monthly reporting and we're handling our hours a little more loosely now - so not correcting every little error. But a key part of this is anyone who actually didn't show for a shift, marking them as a no show. I was hoping to be able to easily report out how many “no shows” were marked for the month of August - but haven't figured that out yet. That would be really helpful. Tracking that might be a way to track our expectations about good communication - not no-showing for shifts, and see the change in total no show numbers over time as we adapt our communication and training.
