With COVID-19, we stopped using our volunteer sign in kiosk. Our IT manager has suggested using a QR code or barcode for volunteer profiles when checking in at our facility. This would reduce the number of people touching our kiosk on a daily basis.

We already have mobile sign-in functionality included in the system so that volunteers can sign in using their mobile device instead of everyone having to touch a shared kiosk. You can learn more about it here: https://support.cervistech.com/hc/en-us/articles/360031962092

I'd like to reopen this query. The barcode idea is ideal for our population of adults who are on average 70 and not all of them have phones or are able to navigate an ipad
