    Hi Amy,

We are working on an update that will allow you to specify additional gender options in the built-in gender selection field, which should be released fairly soon.  However, if you want to include a completely separate question for preferred pronouns, you would have to use one of the available custom selection fields, as this is not something we currently have planned to build directly into the system.

If we do receive enough requests for this type of functionality in the system, in the future, we will certainly re-evaluate functionality, but currently, most organizations just have different preferences on how they ask this question, so our solution is to add the ability to add additional options to the built in gender field or to allow orgs to create a custom question so it can be presented exactly as the organization desires.

    Warm Regards,

    Hi Katy,

We added the ability to edit the response options for your volunteers in the built-in Gender field in our v8.4.0 update. You can find all of the information about our regular system updates in the Changelog linked HERE.

You will find this new option in the Information Collection section of your System Configuration. The field is entitled, "Additional Gender Selection Options" and it enables you to enter the selection options that you would like included in addition to Male and Female (e.g. Other, Non-Binary, etc) in a comma separated format.

    Warm Regards,

    CERVIS Customer Support
