We promote Christian concerts and need volunteers for different spots and we don't always know what those needs are. I like to create at least one event for a tour as a "place holder" so I am not rushing to create all the dates, that I can duplicate for the whole tour. It would be nice to be able to go back into an event and change the type it is.I would say that 98% of our events are Time Slots so I have to go back in and add to if things change.

Hi Stacie,
Within the system, you already have the ability to change the event type after initially creating the event. The only time that you cannot change the event type between a "Normal" and a "Time Slot" event, is when you already have volunteers registered for the event.
"Normal" events and "Time Slot" events store registration information differently, as such, if you want to change an event from "Normal" to "Time Slot", you must first unregister any volunteers from the event.
