A fair number of our volunteers come from court-ordered community service, so we need to track their hours, and indicate to a construction supervisor which volunteers in their group are there for community service (to make sure they were there the full shift and given credit). It would be great if the GPS site log-in tool could track how long that person was actually on site and notify us when they hit their target hours, no matter what site they go to (e.g. 100hrs total from 4 different sites). So if someone checks a "community service" box, they get a follow-up question box for # of hours required. Then that site supervisor would get an email/text alert to confirm So-and-So showed up and stayed for the shift. If I'm going for the full dream, allow them to upload probation orders, copy of license, then watch and confirm viewing of a safety video or two. Then compile a list of hours when it's time to write their probation declaration.
It is a huge time sucker for our organization that could be captured with a few more fields.
