Custom Participation Report Field Title Mismatch with Column Headers

I have found recently that when running the Custom Participation Report, that the report field selection options use the word Opportunity, but that when you pull the report, the matching column headers use the word Activity. 

It's a small thing, but it would be nice if the terms matched! Unless there's a reason they're different that I'm not understanding as a newer user of CERVIS.
