Currently if a volunteer 'registers' for an upcoming event those hours are reflected in their total. I know the date range can be changed to not include the upcoming event. It would be preferable for hours not yet performed to not be included in a volunteers total hours. Additionally, if you look at a snapshot of their profile it currently would reflect 'x' number of events participated in even though it is possible an event has not yet occurred.

I've just started using CERVIS and I had the same comment to make.
Could you (CERVIS) at least make the default "Start" date go to their sign-up date? That way it would show people's volunteer hours since joining CERVIS and they would only have to change the "End" date if that continues to be automatically set to a year from now.
I'm still a really new user so maybe I'm missing something, is there a more accurate way for our volunteers to keep rack of their hours?0
