  Isn't the purpose of a service project to not have a specified date/time?

  Many of our ongoing service projects have regular shifts and it would be helpful for volunteers to be able to indicate their shift preference in the posting.  Additionally, custom fields would allow for program coordinators to inquire about volunteer preferences when they register, rather than having to contact each volunteer individually.  For example, our previous software allowed for youth sports coaches to indicate the area of town that they would like to coach and if they wanted to coach their child's team.

  We also have many on-going projects that have regular shifts.  Some shifts in the pantry are for distribution while others are for prep work.  It would be helpful to the volunteers to be able to indicate which area they prefer to help.
