I have had occasions when volunteers who are creating their profile get to the group section on the profile page and check off various groups. These are not groups they are part of. It appears they believe we have opportunities with the groups that are listed and they would be interested in helping. Is there a possibility of adding a sentence after Group (within the profile creation page) that says something like, "check the box for the group you are currently a member"? For example we have volunteers who belong to a group named 'Kids Sending Smiles' and many other volunteers believe this is something they can help with so they check off the box. However, they are not actually members of the group.

The group function in CERVIS is an interesting one. We really didn't like the idea of people self-signing up for their groups so we made them all private and manually assign volunteers to them. I think the Group function could use some work but it's fine for us right now.
