When a volunteer is marked as a "no show", their registration disappears and the only trace left is a note on the volunteer's profile. It makes it very difficult to track down any "no shows" after the fact, especially if you want to call the volunteer and ask them why they didn't show it.
It would be great to have some kind of notification system or list of recent "no shows" so that we could keep track of those volunteers who have not been showing up lately.
I'm open to suggestions as to how to tackle this communication issue as there are probably many possible solutions.

Hi Colin,
You can use the advanced volunteer search and find volunteers with no-shows between certain dates. I don't think that is exactly what you are looking for, but it should get you the information you need.

Hi,
Thanks for the reply. Your solution would only work if I somehow knew that there was once a volunteer registered that has now been marked as a no-show. Once someone has been unregistered as a no-show, there is no trace of their former registration, so I would not know to search for a no-show in the first place.
It would be nice if the registration, once marked as a no-show, was ghosted so that the info is still there but the registration is inactive.

I agree -- I like the suggestion of a ghosted registration in addition to the no-show note.

I love the suggestion of the ghosted registration. We would like to follow up with our no-shows and be able to pull reports with total no-shows, etc. Please add that function!
