Reminder Made Specific for Multiple Events

Sometimes we might have more than one event taking place on the same day.  We would like to be able to custom the reminder to the specific event not have a generic reminder to encompass all events.  Additionally volunteers feel the event information is buried in the reminder.  Is there a way to make the event specifics be more prominent?
