If you have an event that happens twice a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year, that's A LOT of events. As recommended by CERVIS, we've broken up the event into months, making a separate event for each month of the year.
The problems with this workaround:
- Long, difficult-to-read lists of events, especially if you have many daily events that happen year-round.
- If you need to change something in the event description, you have to do it 12 times. Make a couple changes in a day and your brain will be numb from tedious data entry.
Solution suggestion:
Automatically break up events by month within the event description and display only one event listing for the year in the Event Listing (instead of 12). This way, the list is 1/12th of the size it normally is, but it's still easy (if not easier) to find listings for future months. Creation of the event would be easy (would have to manage hundreds of time slots in one event, however) as bulk update could be used for making all those time slots.
