Register volunteers for a new event directly from the event registration page
Not plannedWe often have events that are workshops. Sometimes there is an overwhelming response for a "Part II" of that same workshop, or a field class that we hadn't planned for. We would like to be able to open up the registration list for that first event, click on the volunteers who showed an interest in a second class, encore or follow up event, and register them for that second event....directly from that event registration list.
We would likely use this often.
Currently we just export the list of interested folks from the event registration list, then find them through the volunteer search feature, then bulk register them for the event. Being able to do this from the event registration page would just be more efficient.

Hi Erin,
Similar functionality to what you are requesting already exists in the system. It's not an exact match, but will definitely work better for you than your current method.
1. Login to CERVIS.
2. Click on the "Search / Manage Volunteer Database" link under the "Volunteer Management" section of the Main Dashboard.
3. Click on the radio button next to "Advanced Search"
4. On the advanced search page, scroll down and expand the "Volunteer Participation Options" section
5. Select your desired event from the list (this will be the event that you want to copy registration from)
6. Click on the "Search Volunteer Database" button at the bottom of the page. This will return a list of all the volunteers registered for that event.
7. Select the volunteers from the list of returned volunteers that you want to register for the second / follow up event.
8. Click on the "Bulk Register" button.
9. Select the second / follow up event from the list and click the "Register # volunteers for this event" button.
Warm Regards,
CERVIS Customer Support
