There is such a visually appealing, easy-to-read calendar in the CERVIS events search panel in the administrator login. The calendar view for volunteers on the events listing page is far less functional and serves as more of a filter than a way to view an organization's calendar.
The volunteer accessible calendar should be the same as the admin calendar, and it would be great if it could be sorted (and linked!) by interest category.

The volunteer calendar view was added in CERVIS version 8.2 back in Sept 2019. The volunteer calendar view is not identical to the admin calendar view because it has been designed to work within the volunteer registration workflow. The volunteer calendar view can be accessed by clicking on the calendar icon on the event listing page:

Why isn't this planned? I would love to see the calendar view as a volunteer - seeing a long text list of dates and times without reference to day of the week (like a calendar!) is very confusing, especially since we have over 80 time slots per event for our kitchen.

Well... It's been almost 10 years since this original request was made. Has there been any progress?

Is there a reason why the volunteer calendar only has dates and not the events like the admin view? We have so many events around the country- the admin view is just better for finding an event.
