Email Variables Like ##fname##

Hello,

Is there a way when sending an email to multiple people to have the system automatically put the first name into the email for each recipient? So I'm sending an email to two volunteers. Instead of writing Dear John, I'd like to put in Dear ##fname##, so that it puts each person's name in. Thanks!

  "There are no variables available for creating templates or sending out email messages within CERVIS. This is because mass email messages are sent out based on email address and not per individual profile. For example, if you have 3 volunteers with the same email address, the system will just send one message to the email address, and not separate messages to each profile."
