Can we get a create profile or create account button on the account check page? A lot of our new volunteers see that page and think it is a login screen and don't see an option to make an account. They don't read the blue box above explaining the page. So I think a hyperlink that says something along the lines of "New user/ click here to create account" would greatly reduce the confusion on that page for our new volunteers.

Hi Andrew,
Thanks for your suggestion! The entire purpose of the account check functionality is to allow the system to determine whether or not the volunteer already has a profile in the system. Many times, volunteers may already have a profile in the system and not realize it because their profile information may have been imported from a previous system or they may have created a profile previously and not remembered doing so. As such, we have found that using the account check method is the best way to prevent volunteers from creating duplicate profiles.
We do understand that some volunteers may not read the contents of the page and experience some degree of uncertainty about how to proceed, but we have found that the vast majority of volunteers are able to navigate this functionality without any issues.
If you would like to add a link for volunteers to create a profile on the account check page, you are able to do this by adding it into the note at the top of the page by updating the "Account Check Page Welcome Note" field under the "Page Content" section of your system configuration. However, we would recommend against doing this as we think you will find that it causes more problems than it solves.
We certainly appreciate your feedback and will certainly use it to review the account check process to see if there is an opportunity to improve / clarify the process (which we have already done numerous times throughout the years), but it is unlikely that the option to add a "New user/ click here to create account" option will be added.
Warm Regards,
