Add New Volunteer - entry time

Why doesn't the cursor automatically appear in the first text box on the 'Add New Volunteer' tab? As far as repetitive data entry is concerned, the fewer clicks it takes, the more efficient the data management is. If this is easy enough to add, I imagine many would benefit when they are manually entering volunteer profiles/waivers. It does it on most of the search boxes...
