CERVIS v3.3.0 - January 18, 2014
New Features:
Please note, not all new features are available to Basic and Standard Edition customers.
Expanded Volunteer Profile Management Options
Alternate Volunteer Phone Number - The Alternate phone field has always been an optional field within CERVIS, but now you can remove it all together if desired. If you don't want volunteers to have the option to provide an additional phone number when creating or editing their profile, you can now disable it in the system configuration under "Information Collection Options"
Phone Number Search - You can now search for volunteers based on their primary or alternate phone number from within the advanced search page.
Extended Reservation Code Registration Options
Bulk Registration - You now have the ability to bulk register volunteers for an event while using a reservation code.
Group Leader Registration - Group Leaders now have the ability to use a reservation code when registering (or bulk registering) volunteers in their group(s) for an event.
Enhanced Group Management
Tracking Group "No Shows" - You now have the ability to mark a Group as a "No Show", the same way that you can for an individual volunteer.
Removed Features:
In the near future, we will be implementing a restriction that will require "Normal" and "Custom" events to last a duration of less than 24 hours. Normal and Custom events are intended to be used for a single service opportunity at a specific date and time. Up until this point, CERVIS has allowed them to be longer than 24 hours because "Service Project" and "Time Slot" event functionality (which are designed for longer-term service opportunities) did not exist in the system until much later than "Normal" and "Custom" events. With this update to CERVIS 3.3.0, when you create or update a "Normal" or "Custom" event within CERVIS, you will see a warning notice that says:
Effective March 31, 2014, "Normal" and "Custom" events will be required to be less than 24 hours in duration from the Event Start Date/Time to the Event End Date/Time. If you currently use "Normal" or "Custom" events that last longer than 24 hours in duration, please contact CERVIS Customer Support to explore additional methods to manage longer service opportunities.
