Group Profiles
Simplify the management of group-related activity with group profiles. You can use group profiles to view and update group event registration and service project activity, manage the individuals assigned to the group and even attach files to the group profile all in one place. To access a group profile, please follow these steps:
- Login to your CERVIS account.
- Click on the "Group Management" link under the "Attribute Management" heading on the Main Dashboard.
- Select the desired group and click the "Manage Selected Group" button.
Group Self-Registration
Allow volunteers to create their own groups and register their groups for events. To enable this capability, please follow these steps:
- Login to your CERVIS account.
- Click on the "Edit System Configuration" link under the "System Management" heading on the Main Dashboard.
- Scroll down to the "Miscellaneous Information" section of the system configuration.
- Edit the "Allow Group Self-Registration" option as desired.
- Click the "Update Configuration" button to save the changes.
Enhanced Event Management Calendar
The event management calendar view is now linked to the advanced search criteria selected on the event dashboard page. Use this feature to display or print calendars for different interest categories, event organizers or whatever search criteria you desire. You can also now select to view the current month, the 3 previous months, and the upcoming 12 months. In addition, each slot of a time slot event is displayed individually and more information has been added to each displayed event on the calendar.
E-mail Footer
Add a footer to the bottom of outgoing E-mail messages with the new E-mail footer feature. Automatically add an organization signature block, social media links, or "unsubscribe" information to E-mails by following these steps:
- Login to your CERVIS account.
- Click on the "Edit System Configuration" link under the "System Management" heading on the Main Dashboard.
- Scroll down to the "System Appearance Options" section of the system configuration.
- Edit the "Include E-mail Footer Message" and "E-mail Footer Message" options as desired.
- Click the "Update Configuration" button to save the changes.
E-mail Confirmation & Reminder Messages
Registration Confirmation and Reminder E-mails have been edited to include event-specific information in the E-mail subject line as well as moving more pertinent registration information closer to the top of the message for easier readability.
Remove/Hide Custom Event Questions
This feature gives you the ability to remove custom event questions from a custom event after it has already been created or duplicated. To remove a custom event question, please follow these steps:
1. Login to your CERVIS account.
2. Click on the "Search / Manage Existing Events" link under the "Event/Project Management" heading on the Main Dashboard.
3. Click on the name of the Custom Event that you want to edit.
4. Click on the "Update Event Information for <event name> link at the top of the list.
5. Identify the question you want to hide and change the Field Type to "Disabled".
6. Click the "Update Event Details" button to save the changes.

Easily view or update event information by clicking on the event name when viewing the list of events a volunteer has been registered for.
Removed Features:
Removed the following fonts in the system configuration due to the font size causing alignment issues in the system:
- Lucida Sans Unicode
- Verdana, Geneva, sans-serif
- Georgia, serif
